About Me
Most people see a "behavior problem" and think it’s a lack of discipline. Others see a "health issue" and think it’s just bad luck or bad genetics. I see a connection between the two and that's my Unicorn Approach.
I am Becca Prox, a Certified Animal Naturopath and AKC registered trainer and evaluator. My mission is to help dogs—and the people who love them—find harmony through a dual-lens approach that you won’t find anywhere else in the Southeast Wisconsin/Illinois border region.
I am not a licensed veterinarian, but I can and do work closely with them as needed. My approaches to animal healthcare are natural, supportive, and alternative methods only. I do not provide medical diagnosis, prescribe allopathic medication, or perform procedures. Always seek licensed veterinary care when indicated.
Why the "Unicorn" Approach Matters
Have you ever noticed that a dog’s anxiety seems to spike when their skin is itchy? Or that a dog struggling with joint pain suddenly becomes reactive on the leash?
The truth is: A dog cannot behave their best if they do not feel their best.
By combining naturopathic health principles (nutrition, herbal support, and lifestyle optimization) with balanced obedience training, I address the root cause of the issue rather than just masking symptoms. When we help heal the gut, balance the nervous system, and communicate clearly, transformation happens—fast.
My Expertise
With professional certification in Animal Naturopathy and years of experience in behavioral modification and obedience training, I focus on:
-
AKC standardized training using force-free methods
-
Bio-Individual Nutrition: Customizing diets that fuel your dog’s specific needs
-
Holistic Wellness: Using natural modalities to support the body’s innate ability to heal
-
Obedience with Empathy: Training that builds confidence, respect, and a deep bond between you and your dog
As of July 2026, I'm working toward certifications in Animal Herbalism and Canine Behavior (to be completed this fall).
